Fast Connector

The FiberCore Fast Connector, also called a No-Polish Connector, is a pre-assembled, field-installable connector that eliminates the need for epoxy curing and polishing during installation. It contains a factory-polished ferrule with a short pre-terminated fiber stub inside, and the field fiber is simply cleaved and inserted to align with the stub through an internal mechanical splice. This design allows for quick and tool-light installation in just a few minutes, making it ideal for FTTx rollouts, on-site terminations, and emergency repairs, though it typically has slightly higher insertion loss than epoxy-polish connectors.
